Overview


We are able now able to offer our customers a new feature that allows us to export live data to our customers via FTP or Email.  This feature allows our customers to get the latest information about the whereabouts of their freight right from their own third party system or via an email.


What the export sends to a customer

  • Pickup Created Online
  • Pickup Acknowledged by our fleet controller
  • Pickup Allocated to a local truck
  • Pickup Completed
  • Added to a manifest
  • Manifest Arrived at depot
  • Delivery Allocated (Runsheet created)
  • Delivery completed
  • Sign On Glass image
  • Scanned Documents (POD, etc)



Setup


Below is the standard format for all of the CSV files that are exported from the Hi-Trans System.

The files that are exported from the Hi-Trans system will be received in the below CSV format.


Status Codes

Status Code can be one of the following values:


“C”  (Connote Created In Our System)

Status Reference = Blank

Status Date = Blank

Status Time = Blank


“PR" - Pickup Rebooked

Status Reference = Blank

Status Date = Blank

Status Time = Blank


“K”  (Pickup Acknowledgement - That It's Been Received By Our System)

“L”  (Pickup Allocated To A Vehicle)

“P”  (Pickup Completed)

Freightnote Status files exported will be named “FNStatus<date/time stamp>X.csv” where X = a unique identifier for the current export profile.

A file is generated every hour containing ALL status updates that have occurred since the last file and transferred to FTP server.



Sign On Glass - JPEG File format

The file will be provided in jpeg format with the name of the freightnote as the file name.

POD - TIF, PNG, PDF File format

PODs can be provided in Tiff, PNG, PDF or bmp depending on the source of the POD.

The filename will always end with an underscore and the freightnote number with extension.  For example, Freightnote SW12345 will be  XXXX_SW12345.tif.
